February 21, 2019 - Lauren's article “Joan Miró’s Studio Reopens with a Refreshed Perspective" is published on Hyperallergic. The piece is based on her trip to the Fundació Miró Mallorca in Palma.

February 12, 2019- We spent a couple of days together in Mallorca, where La isla rural takes place. Between the blooming almond trees, ocean views, siurells, and ensaimadas, it was an inspiring trip!

Irene and Lauren read from Nine Postcards and a Love Letter (Nueve postales y una carta de amor), a limited edition risograph artist book that Lauren made and Irene translated in 2017. The publication was printed by The Center for Imaginative Cartography and Research in Houston, Texas.
